Connect the IMSAI 8080esp to an existing WiFi networkΒΆ
By default, the IMSAI 8080esp starts WiFi in access point mode. This means you will see a WiFi network named "imsai8080" to which you can connect using the password "password" and then access http://192.168.4.1 for the web based UI.
To connect the device to an existing WiFi network follow these steps:
Remove the MicroSD card from the device and edit the file
/imsai/conf/boot.conf as following:
HOSTNAME=<hostname>
SSID=<network SSID>
PASSWORD=<network password>
Return the MicroSD card back to the device and change the NVS to set the WiFi to "Station Mode".
After this change and booting the device, you should be able to connect to the configured hostname with a browser.
